During the 1999-2000 season, Justin finished as a first team NJCAA All-American at #1 doubles and second team NJCAA All-American at #3 singles.  He was also All-Conference in the N4C that year and finished with a singles record of 15-2 and a doubles record of 19-1.

For an encore in his sophomore campaign in 2000-2001, Justin was once again named first team NJCAA All-American at #1 doubles and first team All-American at #3 singles. He made All-Conference in the N4C for the second straight season and finished a perfect 23-0 in singles and 21-0 in doubles. He and his doubles partner, Josh Gesner (also a 2015 inductee), remain the only doubles team in NJCAA Division III history to win back-to-back national championships.

Justin has worked in the financial industry for over 16 years and is currently a Sales Associate at the Jones Financial Group of Raymond James and Associates in Loves Park, Illinois.  He is also a loyal contributor of local charities in the area, including the United Way of Rockford and March of Dimes.

“It is a tremendous honor to be in the RVC Sports Hall of Fame,” said Justin. “It’s not something that I ever thought would be possible with all the athletes and coaches who have been through RVC.  To be a part of a team that won the first men’s national championship for RVC is something that’s very humbling even to this day.  I still live in the area and drive by RVC frequently, and every time I drive by I know that I am a part of history. That feels pretty amazing.”

Justin and his doubles partner, Josh Gesner, have been best friends since Justin graduated high school in 1998 and have known each other since 1995.

“I don’t think you will find two people more competitive than us and I think that is largely the reason why we were able to win two national championships in doubles.”

Justin and his wife Angela are the proud parents of a 19-month old daughter named Taylor.
