Linda was a three sport starter in volleyball, basketball, and softball as a freshman. In her freshman season she helped lead the volleyball team to second place in the state and in softball batted .406 and led the team in RBI. In her sophomore year, Lisa was captain of the volleyball team that took third in the state and she was selected to the All-Conference team.  She also made first team All-Conference as a sophomore in softball and was voted as the Most Outstanding Player in the N4C,helping lead the team to a conference championship and second place in the state. She was also a member of the Title IX Committee in 1976. 

Linda went on to play softball for Kathy Veroni at Western Illinois University where they placed fifth in the nation. She has worked for Milestone, Inc. for the last 26 years where she is currently the Senior Vice President and over the years has volunteered for the Special Olympics.

“This is a fantastic experience and a great honor,” said Linda of her Hall of Fame induction. “Rock Valley College gave me the opportunity to receive a great education with fantastic sports programs for men and women at a reasonable cost. It allowed me to further my education and move on to a great university with a terrific softball program coached by one of the best.”
