Bill was team MVP for the RVC Trojans 1978 football team and was named All-Conference and All-American.  After graduating from RVC, he went on to play for Western Illinois University on a full scholarship where he was All-Conference and winner of the Red Miller Award for Most Inspirational Player.

He would later serve as an assistant football coach for WIU (1982-1983), head football coach for College of Eastern Utah (1984-1986), and defensive coordinator for Idaho State University (1987). Bill has worked for Liebovich Steel & Aluminum since 1988 and is Corporate Operations Manager, Vice President, LBT, Inc.

His volunteer work includes 25 years as a youth football coach in Rockford and as a volunteer football coach for his alma mater, Rockford East High School.

“Rock Valley College allowed me an opportunity to mature as both an athlete and a student,” said Bill. “The quality of education teamed with the leadership provided through athletics was, and continues to be, superior. I established lasting friendships and met my bride of 33 years, making my experience at RVC appreciated beyond my ability to express.”

Bill and his wife Jodi have three children, Chase, Grant, and Riley, and two grandchildren, Madalyne and James.
