Intramural Sports

Rock Valley College offers many opportunities to participate in a variety of intramural sports which take place throughout the academic year.

In the past we have offered intramural sports in:
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Futsal
  • Men's Soccer
  • Women's Soccer
  • Dodge Ball
  • Ping-pong

If you are interested in participating in intramural sports, please fill out our registration form. We encourage you to share your thoughts on the intramural sports you would like to see offered in the future. Although we will not be able to accommodate all requests, we will take all requests under consideration for the future.

Register

In order to participate in intramurals at RVC, you must fill out our official online registration form.


Officials

Students interested in officiating intramural sports at RVC will need to fill out the proper student worker paperwork. Either contact the person listed in the job description below or learn more about eligibility requirements and how to apply for student jobs at RVC.

Description

Students needed who would be interested in officiating for the RVC Intramural Sports Program in volleyball, basketball, soccer, futsal, ultimate frisbee, flag football or softball. Intramural Sports Officials will be responsible for creating a fun and safe environment. Applicants must be able to enforce all intramural sports rules and policies, help set up and tear down the activity area at the beginning and end of every shift, assist the programs Intramural Director with checking players "ID" and equipment, maintain intramural sports equipment, and examine the playing surface before every game to ensure safe playing conditions. Also required is to maintain a high level of sportsmanship and communicate any problems or concerns to the Intramural Director.
