The Rumble in the Rock is back at RVC this winter. This year's event will be held on January 9-10, 2026 in the Physical Education Center on RVC's main campus. Rock Valley women's basketball and Rock Valley Men's basketball will host Bryant and Stratton. The now two day basketball showcase competition features all four Rockford Public School District 205 high schools girls and boys teams in addition to now Belvidere North High School and Hononegah High School, who will take the court on Friday night to open the showcase. Both programs bring competitive squads and loyal fan bases, setting the stage for an energetic start to the weekend.

Friday, January 9, 2026:
5:30 p.m.: Belvidere North JV vs Hononegah JV (Boys)
7:00 p.m.: Belvidere North vs Hononegah Varsity (Boys)
Belvidere North will be the home team in the event.

Saturday, January 10^, 2026:
9 a.m.: Jefferson vs East (Girls)
10:30 a.m.: Auburn vs Guilford (Girls)
12 p.m.: RVC Women vs Bryant and Stratton Men
2 p.m.: RVC Men vs Bryant and Stratton Men
4 p.m.: Jefferson vs East (Boys)
5:30 p.m.: Auburn vs Guilford (Boys)
East and Guilford High Schools will be the home teams during the event.
