Hall of Fame
Tyrone Savage averaged 19.5 points-per-game and 6.8 rebounds-per-game while at Rock Valley. The basketball standout was awarded All-American status for his efforts as a sophomore. During his time at RVC, Savage was a two-time All-Conference pick and All-Region selection. Savage was the Most Valuable Player in the 1989 MSTC Holiday Basketball Classic, and still holds the Classic all-time points record (189) for a college player. Savage was recruited to play at UW-Milwaukee and Missouri Western. Savage is currently the East Aurora High School boys’ basketball assistant coach.
