Hall of Fame
Cierra Morris starred for the Golden Eagles in each of the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons. Morris was named Region IV and Conference Player of the Year and became only the third RVC women’s basketball player to earn AllAmerican honors in 2010-2011. That same year, Morris was named to the Region IV All-Tournament Team. Following two seasons at Rock Valley College, the 1,000-point scorer accepted an athletic scholarship to Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond (NCAA Division I, Southland Conference). Her time there saw her score a single-game best 12 points and AllDefensive Team honors. Following her playing career, Morris an assistant under Misty Opat for two stints from 2013-2015 and 2017-2018, where the Golden Eagles won national championship and two runners-up. Morris was named to the Region IV Hall of Fame in 2021.
