Golden Eagles Crush Wilbur Wright
Rock Valley hosted NJCAA DII Wilbur Wright College Saturday in their second meeting of the season… On Sophomore Day, the Golden Eagles got off to a good start holding the Rams to 36% shooting from the field going into halftime with a 57-25 lead… Coming out of the half, Rock Valley kept their foot on the gas and finished the contest shooting 60% from the field (42-70) and 54% from behind the arc (14-26)… RVC won the game 109-58, and had a season high seven players score in double figures… Leading the way was
Alec Pena (Rockton, IL), who finished with 22 points on 10-13 shooting, and 14 rebounds… Off the bench,
Andrew Squires matched his career high with 17 points, going 5-5 from three-point land... RVC had two players score 12 points:
Equavion Monroe (Rockford, IL) and
DeMari Davis (Indianapolis, IL)…
Jace Kitchen (DeKalb, IL) and
