Graduate of Pecatonica High School (Pecatonica, Illinois)... 3-year varsity starter, and the school’s all-time leading scorer... Coached by Ben Powers... Selected as an all-conference first team member, all-state honorable mention, and IBCA special mention for his play during his senior year... Was also named Team MVP... Honorable mention all-conference selection and Team co-MVP as a junior... Second team all-conference selection and Team co-MVP as a sophomore... All-conference wide receiver for Pecatonica’s football team his senior year.
