Forrest Hicks

Forrest comes to RVC after serving as a graduate assistant at William Penn University under Head Coach John Henry. In two seasons at William Penn, the Statesmen compiled an overall record of 52-17, earning two trips to NAIA nationals including a Final 4 appearance. In the two years Forrest was at William Penn, the Statesmen had 5 athletes earn All-American honors and 8 athletes earn all Heart of America Athletic Conference awards. Hicks was involved in recruiting student-athletes, on court coaching, Individual player development and monitoring academics.   His first year at William Penn Forrest served as the head JV coach for the Statesmen.

Previously, Hicks served as an assistant at Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devils for the 2016-2017 season.   During his season with the Blue Devils,  he saw 3 players earn all region.  

A native of St. Joseph, MO. Forrest played four seasons at the University of St. Mary for current RVC Head Coach Tyler Bredehoeft.  In his freshman season at USM, the Spires won the KCAC and advanced to NAIA D2 nationals.  In his prep career at St. Joseph Christian, he lead his team to two consecutive district titles and earned an appearance in the state semi finals his senior year.  He was named three-time all-district and was two-time all-state.

Hicks graduated from the University of St. Mary in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters in Business Leadership from William Penn University in 2019.Â
