Rockford, IL: The Golden Eagles men's basketball teams won their opening round game of the Region 4 tournament. RVC defeated College of Lake County 94-74. The Golden Eagles were led by four players reaching double figures. Jajuan Cozark led RVC with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. Also making double figures was Cam Reed with 21 points 6 assist, Adam Brown with 16 points and JT Samuels with 13 points.

Rock Valley College is also hosting the men's Super Region 4 Semi-Finals this weekend alongside the women. The women will play on Saturday, while the men will play on Sunday March 1st with the Golden Eagles playing in the 4pm game of the day against the #10 seed Carl Sandburg.
