Isabelle Rivera run and composed finish to extend the league before NIACC pulled on back from a corner with seconds left in the half.
The second half saw the Golden Eagles start to dictate the match dominating possession and having a majority of possession in attacking areas. The pressure led to a penalty kick that #25 Joceln Harms dispactched and added a bit of breathing room. NIACC were dangerous on the counter, but as the game went on their chances became less frequent. The final goal came off a bit of build up and a wonderfully weighted ball from #5

It was a strong performance against a solid North Iowa team. The Golden Eagles pick up their second win of the season taking them into Region 4 play vs Waubonsee Community College at home Saturday August 31st @ 2:30 pm following the mens game.
