rd ranked Golden Eagles would close out the regular season with a pair of wins this week against South Suburban College 93-55 and Olive Harvey College 100-64. With those two victories Rock Valley would finish the regular season with a perfect 30-0 overall record. "This was an amazing finish to a really special season we had. To be able to finish the year unblemished is truly special and to do this on a day where we honored our 50
th anniversary undefeated football team meant more. " Stated Coach

On Tuesday the Golden Eagles would defeat South Suburban College 93-55. Leaders from the game were, 
Mia Moore with 26 points 7 rebounds 6 assists and 5 steal, 
Maya Mitchell would have 22 points 5 rebounds and 4 steals, and 
Jasmyn Hale would round out double digit scoring with a big double-double night 11 points, and 15 rebounds. With this win Coach Watkins would record his 100 career collegiate win in 127 games coached giving him a career win percentage of 79%.
Saturday Rock Valley would defeat Olive Harvey in the season finale by a score of 100-64. This win would keep the Golden Eagles perfect all while completing a historic regular season to finish 30-0. Leaders from the game were 
Mia Moore with 21 points 4 steals, 
Maya Mitchell with 14 points 5 rebounds, and 
Jasmyn Hale would round out double digit scoring with 12 points 7 rebounds.

RVC will host the NJCAA Region 4 DII women's basketball tournament over the next two weeks. Quarterfinals will be played Thursday February 29
th  at the highest seed, followed up with the Semi-Finals on March 2nd at Rock Valley College and the Finals on March 9
th at Rock Valley College.
