Rockford, IL: The #11 Golden Eagles defended #TheNest on Tuesday night against the Scots from McHenry. McHenry came into the game with a 1-1 record. RVC would defeat McHenry 94-47 and moves to 2-0 on the year.
RVC controlled the game from start to finish against the Scots, jumping out to an early 22-4 lead. The Golden Eagles would put together 63 defensive stops forcing 28 turnovers while holding McHenry to 32% shooting from the field. The Golden Eagles continued to share the rock as they would record 26 assist on 37 field goal makes for the game. RVC put six players in double figures led by
McKenna Williams 16 points on 8-12 shooting from the field. Williams would also record 9 rebounds and 5 assist. Sophomore's
Jasmyn Hale would record 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assist, 3 steals,
Elli Teubert would record 14 points, 8 assist and 8 rebounds,
Maya Mitchell had 13 points, 6 rebounds,
Alicia Bates would put together 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals, and freshman
Mia Moore would round out the night with 11 points, and 5 rebounds.
