(October 17, 2023) Rockford, IL - The Golden Eagles Women's Soccer team closed out the season with a 4-0 win vs Southeastern Iowa Community College. RVC honored their sophomore players

Jocelyn Harms beating the back line and finishing high past the goalkeeper. The second half saw RVC extend their lead through a bit of team possession finding #18
Rafaella Steckbeck who slotted Garrelts through and then crossing to find #7
Anika Elgin on the back post for a one touch finish. Elgin finished off her double with an unstoppable free kick over the wall and hitting the bottom of the crossbar before finding the back of the net. Goalkeepers

#0 Kelsey McIntyre preserved the 7th shutout of the season.
With the win RVC moves to 13-2-3 on the year unbeaten in the last 15 games played heading into the Region IV quarterfinal. The quarterfinal game will be hosted at Rock Valley College on Sunday October 29th at 12:00 PM vs the winner of Oakton College or Moraine Valley College.
