Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Fly by Bobcats, 4-0

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Golden Eagles found their way in the win column once again Tuesday afternoon. Four different goal scorers found the back of the net to pace RVC 4-0 over Bryant & Stratton College. Julio Davila gave the Golden Eagles the early lead in the 14th minute off a first-time strike stemming from a corner kick. Sophomore Roberto Davila would twice collect assists off corners kicks when Joshua Ceniceros tightly placed a header, beating the keeper in the 21st minute. Freshman Max Rebori would complete a three-goal 13-minute span, beating the keeper in the 27th minute.

Rock Valley would hold scoreless until the 81st minute when Roberto Davila found the back of the net on a pass from Elijah Rufer.

The nearly sold-out Chad Herren Pavilion saw a similar brand of high-paced action they were treated to Friday night in the season opener.

"Loved the response tonight," said head coach Tim Romanello. "[The guys] played a really great first half that set the tone for the evening. A few things to button up, but overall really pleased with how they got after it."

Alyas Fritz started his second game, both home games. Fritz collected two saves and the shutout.

Rock Valley College is 2-1-0 (0-0-0 Region 4). Bryant & Stratton drops to 0-1-0 (0-0-0). The Golden Eagles are back in action Sunday (Aug. 28) evening when they travel to St. Louis Community College in a 1:00 pm kickoff.
