Two days after defeating Black Hawk the men's basketball team was back at it against Delta College. The Golden Eagles got out to 12pt lead in the first half behind some great team defense. They held the Pioneers to 35% from the field and forced 10 turnovers in the first half. However the Pioneers would come roaring back in the second half. The Golden Eagles trailed with 3 minutes remaining in the second half. A few timely defensive steals allowed the Golden Eagles to regain the lead late in the game. RVC would seal the game at the free throw line, going 6-6 in the final minutes. AJ Williams posted 14pts, 8rebs and 5 stls. George Williams also filled the stat sheet with 14pts and 5 asts. Kenneth Garth contributed 13pts, 7rbs and Jordan Majeed added 11pts, 9rbs.
