ROCKFORD, Ill. – A rain-soaked afternoon was not enough to stop Rock Valley College on Tuesday afternoon. The Golden Eagles saw six different goal scorers and 11 different players involved with the scoring enroute to their 8-0 win over Richard J Daley.
Julio Davila capped the night with a hattrick and added an assist for good measure to lead the Golden Eagles.
Â
Davila started the Golden Eagles attack early with a rocket in the fourth minute of action.
Brady Williams provided the assist after eluding two Daley defenders. Davila struck again just 12 minutes later after
Alejandro Montalvo fed the midfielder on ball threaded through the Daley back line for his second of the match. As the half wore on, Rock Valley held the lion's share of the possession and held Richard J Daley to their lone chance of the game in the 26
th minute off a set piece restart.
Â
Alfredo Jimenez made an immediate impact after replacing
Max Rebori with just under a quarter of an hour to play, converting his first attempt in the 41
st minute on a pass from
Noah Green. Jimenez would return the favor providing
Brady Williams with a helper with just seconds to play in the first half to close out a 4-0 lead at the intermission.

th minute.
Luis Hernandez would score a rocket from 40-yards out in the 69
