The Golden Eagles dropped to #15 in the nation after dropping games in Iowa over the weekend. The Golden Eagles played NJCAA D1 Marshalltown on Friday in the Emerson Classic on the campus of Marshalltown CC. RVC dropped the Friday contest by a score of 51-64. Nick Pierson lead all scores in the game with 21pts. Malik Marshall added 12pts in the effort.  
RVC had a quick turn around on Saturday and played #16 NJCAA D2 Iowa Lakes. The Golden Eagles battled in the first half going into the break down 43-40. They would take the lead breifly in the second half but the Lakers were too much for the Golden Eagles. Iowa Lakes defeated RVC 90-68. Malik Marshall, Aleksa Markovic and George Williams all score in double digits for the Golden Eagles.
