MEN'S BASKETBALL LOSES HEARTBREAKER IN SEASON OPENER
Rock Valley drops season opener.

Milwaukee, WI. - The RVC Men's Basketball team opened up the season Saturday afternoon on the road versus Bryant & Stratton and suffered a close loss, 82-76.
The Golden Eagles led at halftime 41-36 and quickly went on a 12-3 run to open the second half to extend their lead 53-38 with just under 16 minutes to play. The Bobcats kept chipping way to the lead due in large part to the Eagles 9 turnovers in the second half.
The Eagles clung to a 9 point lead with under ten minutes left to play, but ultimately, turnovers fueled Bryant & Stratton's comeback attempt, winning 82-76.
The Eagles were led in scoring by sophomore transfer
Brandon Taylor (16), sophomore
Josh Streeter (15). The front line for the Eagles played particularly well, with both centers totaling a double double. Nana Kadom-Ayensu finished with 12pts & 13reb while
Bryanth Farr finished with 11 points and 11 boards.

Rock Valley is 0-1 on the year and plays at Kishwaukee College Tuesday night at 7:30pm.
