Rock Valley Rolls UW-Baraboo to Return from Thanksgiving Break
On Monday night, Rock Valley took down UW-Baraboo 95-53… Rock Valley took control from the jump, using tight defense hold the visiting Fighting Spirits to 22 first half points… RVC's defense forced 17 first half turnovers, and held UW-Baraboo to a chilly 0-12 from 3PT land in the first half… 5 Golden Eagles recorded double figure scoring, led by Malique Ross with 17 points on 7-11 shooting… Ross also added 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals… Freshmen guards Jaylen Jones (Shorewood, IL) and Rico Duncan (Noblesville, IN) added 14 points each… Sophomores DeMari Davis and Darius Branch added 13 points each… Elijah Pappas led the team in assists (6) and rebounds (10).

Game Notes
Rock Valley is an NJCAA Division III member of the North Central Community College Conference (N4C)… Rock Valley did not match up with Illinois Central College last year… In their last meeting on November 11^th, 2012, RVC lost to Illinois Central 97-73… The Golden Eagles would rally in that 2012-13 season to finish 19-16 overall, and make the NJCAA DIII National Tournament in Loch Sheldrake, NY… The Golden Eagles shot a frigid 28.6% from the field in the game… RVC was led by former NJCAA DIII All-American Brandon Schwebke, who scored 26 points and ripped down 14 rebounds… Chicagoland native Blake McElroy added 15 points, while Reginald Eaton contributed 10 points in just 14 minutes of action.
