M-Basketball: Fast Start Fuels RVC Past McHenry
Box Score RVC Men's Basketball traveled to NJCAA DII McHenry County College and came away with an 80-55 win. The Golden Eagles improve to 4-1 in the early parts of the 2017-18 campaign.
"We played with a purpose by starting the game off attacking," said Head Men's Basketball Coach
Evan Lavery. "There is a lot of talent on this roster. We have many players that can do a handful of good on the court for us. McHenry wanted to slow us down with zone pressure in the full court, and zone defense in the half court. We did a quality job of attacking their defense to create scoring opportunities."
Four Golden Eagles scored in double figures, paced by Chicago native Darius Branch's 17 points.
Malique Ross (12),
DeMari Davis (12), and freshman big man Bryanth Farr (10) also notched double figure scoring.
