M-Soccer: RVC Falls at Illinois Valley

RVC Men's Soccer team lost to Illinois Valley Community College 2-1 on Monday evening. The Golden Eagles finish the regular season with a 6-8-1 record. They will enter the Region IV Tournament as the #5 seed.

"Just a very frustrating game," said Head Men's Soccer Coach Frank Horvat. "We had our chances. We hit the post twice, the cross bar once, and missed with an open net. We started off our year red hot, but just could not find a way to piece this one together."

Jesse Hurder scored for RVC in the 89th minute.
