Rock Valley Wins in Conference Home Opener
Rock Valley hosted NJCAA DIII Harper College Saturday in their conference home opener… The Golden Eagles got off to a slow start but continued to battle, heading into halftime up 23, 60-37… Rock Valley never let up winning the contest 113-83 in their highest scoring game of the season, moving them to 2-0 in N4C play… RVC shot 53% from the field on a 39-73 shooting night were six players scored in double figures… Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was sophomore
Alec Pena (Rockton, IL) who finished with 17 points…
Jace Kitchen (DeKalb, IL) pitched in 15 points, as did
Terrence Lakes (Lombard, IL) off the bench in a 6-7 shooting night… Lakes also added a team-high 5 assists…
