W-Soccer: #2 RVC Sneaks by Harper in 2OT
Box Score #2 Rock Valley College needed 2 overtimes, but managed to beat Harper College on the road 1-0.
Sarah Landerholm scored in the 104th minute to secure the victory. The Golden Eagles improve to 12-0-1 overall, and 7-0-1 in the N4C.
"Today's match was a tough one," said Head Women's Soccer Coach
Carrie Barker. "We always know going into a match against Harper that it will be fast and physical. We fought each minute of the match and were able to pull it out."
Kenzie Theien provided the assist on Landerholm's goal. The shutout over Harper marks RVC's 9th shutout in 13 matches.
