W-Basketball: Golden Eagles defend home court, defeat rival D2 opponent Kishwaukee
Box Score The Golden Eagles women's basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season Thursday night defeating rival Kishwaukee College (NJCAA D2) 49-37 in Rockford.
Brianna Davis (Rockford Auburn) led the way for Rock Valley with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals.
"We found a way to win an ugly game," head coach Misty Opat stated. "Our defense propelled us to a win with 23 points off turnovers."
The Golden Eagles are back in action on Tuesday at home vs. Highland Community College (Freeport, IL). Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM in the Physical Education Center on the campus of Rock Valley College.
