Rock Valley College Head Volleyball Coach Kristy Pierce announces the addition of Samantha Ingram to the Volleyball staff.

Ingram enters her first year as assistant coach for Rock Valley volleyball team in 2024. Ingram has been coaching club volleyball for the past 5 years in addition to doing private lessons. Ingram comes back to Rock Valley College from Loyola University in New Orleans where she was a part of the women's volleyball team and is currently finishing up her senior season with the beach volleyball program.

During Ingram's time at Loyola she was named a SSAC all-academic team SSAC setter of the week, and is apart of the most winning beach pair in program history. And on the court Loyola had the best program record in the last 21 years and received the first at large bid in the last 21 years to the NAIA National Tournament. During Sam's time at RVC she was named 1st team All conference, 1st team All region, and 2nd team Academic all-American. During that special season the RVC Volleyball team made it all the way to the NJCAA DIII National Championship game before falling to Owens Community College finishing their season with a 34-8 record. Samantha would leave her mark on the program as she became a setter with the 2nd most assists in program history.

"Sam was a talented and hardworking student athlete who did everything and more during her time here at RVC.  She will no doubt throw all of her effort, energy and expertise into RVC Volleyball.  Sam is a strong leader and role model for our players and I am so excited for our team to have the opportunity to learn and grow as players and people from her.
Welcome Sam!  We are excited to have you become part of our RVC family."
