Reegan Kingpavong

Reegan Kingpavong joins the Rock Valley College women’s soccer coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season after completing a five-year NCAA career at Northern Illinois University and Saginaw Valley State University.

She began her career at Saginaw Valley State University (2020-21), where she appeared in all 23 matches during the Fall 2021 season, scoring five goals and recording five assists. She was named Second Team All-GLIAC and earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team honors that year. During her time with the Cardinals, she played in 31 total matches and helped lead the program to one of its strongest offensive seasons in school history.

Following two seasons at SVSU, Kingpavong transferred to Northern Illinois University, where she competed from 2022 to 2024 and was a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree. In her debut season at NIU, she appeared in 11 matches recording 2 goals and an assist, including a standout performance against Eastern Kentucky and Toledo before a season ending injury. After returning from injury in 2023, she played in 11 games and scored the game winning goal against Akron on October 1.

Her final collegiate campaign in Fall 2024 was her most active and consistent at NIU, Kingpavong played in 18 matches, logging 455 minutes with a season high of 44 minutes against Buffalo. She scored and recorded assists against Kent State, St. Thomas, and Southern Indiana.

Across her five-year collegiate career at the Division I and II levels, Kingpavong appeared in 73 career matches and totaled over 1,100 minutes. Known for her technical skill and attacking presence she developed as a dynamic forward and midfielder. She brings high-level experience, energy and player focused approach to the Golden Eagles’ program.

A native of Rockford, Illinois, Kingpavong is a graduate of Guilford High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in Biological Sciences, from Northern Illinois University in 2024.
