Coach Howard joined the coaching staff in August of 2022. Jack Howard is the programs Recruiting Coordinator. Howard will work primarily with hitters and be in charge of recruiting.
Coming off a consecutive 42 win campaign in 2025. Coach Howard's offense broke the home run record again with 69! The offense produced Jameson Johnson (3B) and Gavin Obremski (C) to 2nd Team All-Region 4 honors in 2025. Also, Chase Wiese (2B) was tabbed as Region 4 Rawlings Gold Glove. The offense produced again and again under Coach Howard.
Coach Howard put up video game numbers in 2024. He continued to re-set the home run record with 65 in the spring campaign. Coach Howard developed 2nd baseman Jackson Lindquist into an All-American! He shattered the record that he put up the year before! The Golden Eagles hit with a .331 batting average. As a hitting coach, the team finished 3rd in the NJCAA with 28 triples. Due to Coach Howard's expertise hitting, the Golden Eagles continue to send players onto the highest of levels. RVC's slugging % was .550 which finished 8th in the country. The offense continues to thrive under his guidance.
During the 2023 spring campaign, Coach Howard set numbers with the offense. The hitters broke the home run record in '23 with 36! With Coach Howard helping the Golden Eagles to 32 wins in first year of NJCAA DII, the offense had 36 Home Runs, 99 doubles, 323 RBI's on the season, not to mention the offense ran and ran for 153 stolen bases.
Prior to being a Golden Eagle Jack was an assistant coach at Parrish Community High School in Parrish, Florida. At Parrish Community Howard helped oversee hitters and infielders. During his only season at Parrish Community the team saw 2 infielders go on to play college baseball, and posted season records in hits, runs, RBI’s, walks, HBP, fielding percentage, and steals. The team posted .938 fielding percentage and turned 29 double plays.
Howard played 4 years of college baseball. He played two seasons at College of DuPage and two at Webber International. At the College of DuPage, as a sophomore, he hit .403 with a .511 OBP, and a .653 slugging percentage. After junior college he went on to play 2 years at Webber International University.
Howard is originally from Lincoln, Illinois, he moved to Joliet and graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy. He graduated from Webber International with a degree in Sport Business Management.
