Volleyball: Pierce Reveals 2025 Season Schedule

As Golden Eagle Volleyball fans eagerly await another exhilarating season, with great excitement, seventh-year Rock Valley College women's volleyball Head Coach Kristy Pierce has revealed the 2025 Golden Eagles volleyball season schedule.

Coach Pierce described last season as full of highs and lows in the Golden Eagles' third season competing at the NJCAA Division II level. Ultimately, the 2024 Golden Eagles fell in the Region 4 Semi-Final. "With a large freshmen class coming in this season, we're excited and eager to get to work with this group of girls!" said Head Coach Pierce. "We may be starting from scratch in some ways, but this group is eager, hardworking, and ready to grow. I'm excited to see how we come together and define who we are as a team."

There will be many opportunities for RVC volleyball fans to catch the Golden Eagles in action. RVC's 2025 schedule features 15 home dates. "There's a lot of excitement for this fall," Coach Pierce said. The Golden Eagles will have a lot of new faces entering the program this year. "We love the challenges that our schedule will present. The Golden Eagles will open the season with a home exhibition match on August 9th with their Alumni game followed by an exhibition match with Rockford University. Opening day means Opening Weekend Tournament at UW Sports Factory in downtown Rockford and the Golden Eagles will compete at the UW Sports Factory in the largest Junior college tournament in the country. Rock Valley will open up against Muskegon on opening day at 1pm followed by Grand Rapids at 3pm.  The Golden Eagles will also compete Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

With the release of the 2025 RVC Volleyball schedule for this upcoming season the countdown to game day has officially started.  The Golden Eagles have a great mix of talented players locally and from all across the country, fans get ready to pack the PEC in support of your Golden Eagles Volleyball Team.
