Rock Valley Baseball's great season ended in the Region 4 tournament with a hard-fought 11-15 loss to Black Hawk College. The loss brought RVC's final record to 42-17 tying the all-time wins record in a season in Rock Valley history.
The monumental season saw multiple records broken and multiple players moving on to the 4-year level. The team again broke the Home Run for three years in a row behind hitting Coach Jack Howard with 69. He continues to raise the bar at the plate. Pitching the Golden Eagle pitching staff behind the leadership of Coach Tyler Ingram with a extremely solid WHIP of 1.40.
Jameson Johnson (3B) would be named 1st Team All Region for Region 4, while
Gavin Obremski would make 2
nd team all region as a catcher.
Chase Wiese was tabbed as Region 4 Rawlings Gold Glove 2
nd Base Team!
