The Rock Valley College softball team has received its ticket to the 2025 NJCAA DII Softball National Tournament for the third time via the at-large bid. The Golden Eagles dropped two games to National tournament qualifiers Black Hawk who was the Midwest District A champion for Region 4 and Bryant and Stratton who was the Midwest District B Champion. "We believe in playing a tough non-region schedule which ultimately helped us secure a spot in this years national tournament." Stated Head Coach Darin Monroe.
The Golden Eagles carry a 46-9 record into the National Tournament. 5 of the teams Rock Valley faced this season are at the national tournament four at the D2 level and 1 at the D1 level.
