The Rock Valley College Baseball team is off to a great start this season entering now mid April. The Golden Eagles are sitting 25-9 currently going into a tough stretch.  RVC Baseball has Bryant and Stratton coming to town today and will finish the week on the road at Kankakee Friday and Joliet Junior College on Saturday. 

"I feel good about this season so far, our team has proven so far to win the big games.  We have only lost back to back games 1 time this season. That has been a major focus for us." Stated Head Coach Chad Herren 
The Golden Eagles pitching staff has been solid and is quite deep in hopes of making a big post season run.  The team ERA is 4.53 with 106 strike outs in 242.1 innings pitched. "That has been a strength this year. The depth of our pitching. Coach Ingram has done a tremendous job of getting our staff ready to go day in and day out. And our offense continues to do their thing having big innings under the tutelage of Coach Howard and always finds a way to produce runs!" Stated Herren. The Rock Valley offense continues to hit the long ball with 39 Home Runs and a .272 batting average. 

Rock Valley continues to place its sophomores at the four-year level. Cooper Kuemmel just commited to St. Ambrose University along with Ethan Storm committing to Oklahoma University.  "We really enjoy our guys and the work they continue to put in!  We are excited to see what is coming down the pipe for this program." Stated Coach Jack Howard

Today's game is slated to begin at 2:00pm on the beautiful campus of Rock Valley College.
