KANKAKEE, Ill. ā The Rock Valley College Women's Soccer team continued its impressive run of form with a 4ā0 road victory over Kankakee Community College on Tuesday afternoon. With the result, the Golden Eagles improve to 14ā1 overall and 9ā1 in Region IV competition.Ā
Through ten Region IV matchups, Rock Valley has now outscored opponents 41ā1, showcasing their defensive discipline and attacking depth.Ā

Despite RVC generating 15 first-half shots, Kankakee's organized defense held strong until late in the period. The breakthrough came from excellent midfield buildup ā Araceli Mendez drove through the center of the park before finding Emilia Arias, who slipped Johanna Hawley in behind the defense. Hawley's pace created separation, and she calmly placed her finish inside the far post to make it 1ā0.Ā
The second half saw Rock Valley turn their dominance into goals. Hailey Westphal struck twice following dynamic combination play through the midfield, extending the lead to 3ā0. The scoring was capped by Izze Fritz, who powered home a close-range finish into the top of the net to seal the 4ā0 victory.Ā
Head Coach [Insert Coach's Name] praised the team's focus and execution, noting the consistency in both phases of play as the regular season nears its conclusion.Ā
