Rockford, IL - Women's Soccer moves to 6-2-1 on the season with an away draw vs Madison College. The Golden Eagles gave up their first goal in region play early in the match. The goal came from a free kick that was flicked on and finding a Madison player on the left flank. A cross led to a scramble at the top of the box where a Madison player Grace Brown was able to get off a first time shot that found back of the net for the first goal. The Golden Eagles could not turn their advantage in possession into good goal scoring opportunities in the first half. The game was leveled in the second half on an Emma Ambrose free kick from outside the box. RVC goalkeeper Naitzy Garcia was able to make 1 big save early in the game as Madison was held to few opportunities in front of goal.
