Rockford,IL: Head Baseball coach Chad Herren has released the 2024 Golden Eagle Fall Baseball Schedule. Coach Herren just finished his 8th season as the head coach at Rock Valley. The Golden Eagles look to build off last year's historic season of 42-15 making it the all-time winning season in Rock Valley history.  The monumental season saw multiple records broken. The team smashed the Home Run record for the second year in a row with 65. Griffin Smith will go down as one of the best pitchers to ever put on a jersey for the Golden Eagles. Smith would set the record for career strikeouts (202), career innings pitched (141), career wins (17), season strikeouts (113), season wins (11), and season innings pitched (77).  

The Golden Eagles fall schedule will feature some incredible opportunities to play in front or professional scouts and 4 year coaches including the PUMA Baseball Classic, the Region 4 Showcase, the Dinger Bats JUCO Showcase, Midwest Fall Classic and the NI Showcase.  Rock Valley will kick off their fall season with a neutral site game against Sauk Valley Community College at Rockford University.

Coach Herren mentions, "These are exciting times for our program as we look to continue to build and play for a National Championship. The fall will challenge us and prepare us for a great spring".
