As Golden Eagle Volleyball fans eagerly await another exhilarating season, with great excitement, seventh-year Rock Valley College women's volleyball Head Coach Kristy Pierce has unveiled the 2024 Golden Eagles volleyball season schedule.

Coach Pierce described last season as full of highs and lows in the Golden Eagles' second season competing at the NJCAA Division II level. Ultimately, the 2023 Golden Eagles reached the highest level of competition in the country at the NJCAA Division II National tournament. "In our second season as a Division II program, we had some challenging learning experiences for our freshman. In year three, we will use that experience to help guide our team to success.  There will be many opportunities for RVC volleyball fans to catch the Golden Eagles in action. RVC's 2024 schedule features 7 home dates with 11 games. "There's a lot of excitement for this fall," Coach Pierce said. The Golden Eagles will have a great core of returners who received a lot of experience from a team that won 27 games and a Region 4 Championship. "We love our challenging schedule and look forward to learning from all of the good teams we will have the opportunity to face this season." Stated Pierce

The Golden Eagles will open the season with a home exhibition match on August 17th with their Alumni game. This exhibition is always fun and allows the current team to interact with alumni. The following week the Golden Eagles kick off their competition season at home against South Mountain Community College before heading downtown Rockford to compete at the UW Sports Factory in the largest Junior college tournament in the country. "We are excited to start our season at home against South Mountain Community College, we look forward to packing the PEC as our students return to campus for the fall semester," Pierce said.

With the release of the 2024 RVC Volleyball schedule for this upcoming season the countdown to game day has officially started.  The Golden Eagles have a great mix of talented players locally and from all across the country, fans get ready to pack the PEC in support of your Golden Eagles Volleyball Team.
