Rockford, IL (September 5th, 2023)- Rock Valley Women's Soccer increased their undefeated streak in region play with a 4-0 win vs Madison College Tuesday night. The score opened in the first half when Sydney Carlson won the ball in RVC's defensive third and playing the ball back to Bella Spera. Spera was then able to pick out Rafaella Steckbeck on the wing, who drove inside allowing Anika Elgin to run into the channel and receive the ball. Elgin played an early cross in behind the back line finding Jocelyn Harms who took the ball out of the air beat a defender and finished. 

The Golden Eagles took the 1-0 lead into the first half and started the second half with a maizy run from Harms that beat a few defenders before being brought down in the box. She finished off the penalty to go 2 nill up. The final two goals came from Isabella Garrelts both beating the goalkeeper high into the back of the net. Natizy Garcia made two big saves in goal to keep the clean sheet.
