The Golden Eagles are back on track after going 3-1 in the Region IV crossover. The Golden Eagles faced off against NJCAA D2 Moraine Valley Community College, NJCAA D2 Prairie State College, NJCAA D2 Olive Harvey College, and NJCAA D2 Elgin Community College.
Friday would see Rock Valley take on the Moraine Valley in the opening game of the cross over. The Golden Eagles would drop that game to the Cyclones 0-3. That would be the only loss the Golden Eagles would take on the weekend.

The Golden Eagles would finish the weekend winning three games against Prairie State College 3-0, NJCAA DII Olive Harvey College 3-0 and NJCAA DII Elgin Community College 3-0. "This weekend we were able to get back in a rhythm and we were able to do so against Region IV opponents. We are a young group that is still learning how to play with each other Head Coach Kristy Pierce stated. If we can continue this growth and pace it should be an exciting stretch down the season."

The Golden Eagles are on the road Wednesday September 27^th as they face off against South Suburban College before heading back home on Friday September 29^th and Saturday the 30^th facing off against Lakeland University, Waubonsee Community College, University of Dubuque and Saint Ambrose University.
