Box Score Rockford, IL Rockford, IL – Rock Valley College Women's Soccer notched their first Region win of the year with an 18-0 result vs Milwaukee Area Technical College. MATC has restarted their program after years of being unable to field a team on the Women's side. The MATC work rate and spirit was on display but couldn't match the experience and ball movement of Rock Valley College.
The Golden Eagles came out strong scoring 11 first half goals and finishing the game adding 7 in the second half. The women were able to spread the goals out to 10 different goal scorers. Rock Valley was able to record several program records including goals scored in a game 18. Freshman Jocelyn Harms collected an individual record of 6 assists in a single game. Harms is now just one assist away from tying assistant coach Erin DiSanti 4th in program history with 9 assists in a season in 2016. Both Anika Elgin 10 and Jocelyn Harms 12 fell just short of Total Points in a game holder Natalie Pacheco 13 total points in a game from the 2022 season.
