Rock Valley College concluded their regular season on Saturday afternoon against NJCAA DII Prairie State College. The Golden Eagles would pick up a pair of wins in the double header over the Pioneers 12-1 and 10-2. With the two wins Rock Valley would surpass the 40 win total on the season for the 9
th straight season moving their record to 41-10 on the year.Â
Now that the regular season is over, the Golden Eagles are preparing for post season play. Rock Valley has earned the #1 seed in the upcoming NJCAA DII Region IV Softball Tournament. The Golden Eagles will face off against the winner of the #4 seed Morton College and #5 Black Hawk College on Saturday May 13th at 10am.Â
The Region IV softball tournament and the Road to Spartanburg, South Carolina will go through Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL.
