The Golden Eagles went on the road to Moraine Valley yesterday to take on the Cyclones in a double header. Rock Valley took the first game 3-1 in extra innings. AJ Hamilton had a strong outing, he went 6 innings, with 1 earned run and 8 strikeouts. Ethan Krueger went 2-3 in the game with a double and a run scored. Lucas Rick hit a solo home run which gives him four home runs on the season. In Game two the Golden Eagles dominated and came away with a 9-0 victory. Griffin Smith went the distance and struck out 12 cyclones, while only allowing 3 hits. Sean McGurk was 2-4, with 2 RBIs. Ryan Buschmann scored twice and drove in a run. 

The Golden Eagles have a 10-8 record on the year and will take on Kankakee CC on Friday. Then back at it again on Sunday against Olive Harvey.
