The Golden Eagles finished the regular season 19-11 and 14-3 in Region IV play, they received the #3 seed by the way of a coaches vote and will play Carl Sandburg on Thursday at 6pm. This is the first season that the Golden Eagles will compete in the post season at the NJCAA DII level. The winner of the Region IV tournament will receive an automatic bid to the National Tournament in Danville, IL.

With a win on Thursday the Golden Eagles can make it eight straight seasons with 20+ wins for the program. The last time the Chargers and Golden Eagles met this season, Rock Valley won that game in Galesburg by a score of 78-46.
