The Golden Eagles went on the road last Tuesday to play #6 Milwaukee Area Tech. This was a fast paced game from the very beginning, each team getting up and down the floor scoring at will. The Golden Eagles were led in the first half by George Williams and Jordan Majeed who connected on a combined 6 three pointers. Rock Valley would head into the break with a 10pt lead, 56-46. Milwaukee would come storming back at the beginning of the second half to cut it to a one possession game. Antonio Leavy would carry the Golden Eagles in the second half, scoring 18pts in the second. Leavy would finish the game with 30pts and 10rebs, adding in a block. This marks the first win over a Top 10 team as a new NJCAA DII member. This is the second win this season over a Top 20 team.

Rock Valley athletics postponed Thursdays games against Wilbur Wright to this Thursday at 7pm. The Golden Eagles will play Tuesday and Thursday this week to wrap up the regular season. Region IV Tournament info will be announce on February 27th.
