Box Score Oglesby, IL: The Golden Eagles pick up their second win of the week over Illinois Valley 84-47, with that win Rock Valley improves to 20-6 on the season. That is now the 11
th time in 12 seasons Rock Valley has reached the 20 win mark on the year. The Golden Eagles are currently ranked 12
th in the latest NJCAA women's basketball DII poll.
The Golden Eagles would fall behind early to the Eagles trailing after the first quarter after a slow start. "We didn't shoot well in the first quarter, had good looks just couldn't finish the plays. It seemed like there was a lid on the basket at time." Stated Head Coach

The Golden Eagles would quickly find their rhythm and start making shots fast going on a 24-8 run in the second quarter and ending the second half outscoring the Eagles 51-22. "We got through a rough shooting patch and found a way to win the basketball game in a different way." Stated Watkins
Hitting double figures against Kankakee would be four Golden Eagles led by
Camron Blank with 16 points, 12 rebounds. 6 assist and 4 steals, Bre'Najah Davis with 13 points 5 rebounds,
Nevaeh Hughes with 12 points, 5 rebounds and rounding out double figure scores would be
Maya Mitchell with 10 points 6 steals, 4 rebounds and 3 assist in her first game back. Mitchell missed 8 games with a hand injury.
