Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Cedar Rapids, IA: In Kristy Pierce's sixth year at Rock Valley College, she has led her team to the NJCAA DII National Tournament for the first time in school history. 

The Golden Eagles would face off against the #17 seed North Dakota State College of Science. The Wildcats would defeat thew Golden Eagles three sets to one. In this game RVC was led by Emma Fistarol with 11 kills, and Aaliyah Butler, and Bria Johnston with 9 kills each. Jakhi Smith would record 39 assist for the game.

Dropping the opening round match would send the Golden Eagles to the bracket where they would face off against the #18 seed Walters State College. In this match the Golden Eagles would be lead by Bria Johnston with 14 kills, Maisie Green with 13 kills, and Aaliyah Butler with 12 kills. Jakhi Smith would lead RVC with 42 assists. RVC would fall to the Senators 3 sets to 1 which would eliminate the Golden Eagles from the National Tournament.

"I am so proud of this group. Battling all of our injuries that we had this entire season, having players play out of position at time and still winning games. What we did to reach the National Tournament winning every single match in straight sets was a tremendous accomplishment. We will use this tournament experience to our advantage. We will work hard to get back and compete next season." said coach Kristy Pierce.  

The Golden Eagles have an extremley young core with 11 freshman who could potentially return for Rock Valley next season. The one lone sophomore Maisie Green will end her career at Rock Valley College with 64 wins and 24 losses during her time as a Golden Eagle.
