Rockford, IL (October 3, 2023) The Golden Eagle Women's Soccer program downed Triton College 18-1 in Region IV competition. The win moves RVC to 11-2-2 on the season and a 10-0-1 record in the region. Triton College was unbeaten during the 2022 season and went out on penalties in the Region IV tournament, but lost a big class of sophomores from last season. Rock Valley went up 1-0 in the second minute of play and put away 9 in the first half. The second half saw 9 additional goals find the back of the net. Triton scored a consolation goal late in the second half through some hard work pressuring the ball and a good finish.
