Glen Ellyn, IL: The Golden Eagles picked up two huge wins this past weekend against Nationally Ranked opponents. The Golden Eagles faced off against NJCAA DII #16 Madison College and #12 NJCAA DIII College of DuPage capturing two wins moving their overall record to 22-8 on the year.

In the Madison College match-up RVC would see Aaliyah Butler record 16 kills with 0 errors, hitting an amazing .615 to go along with 3 blocks. Maisie Green and Asha Billstrand would also hit.300 for the Golden Eagles while Jakhi Smith recorded 41 assists.  Maisie Green and Nevaeh Cruz had 2 service aces. C.J. Blum had a match high 14 digs against the Wolfpack.

In the College of DuPage match the Golden Eagles would see Aaliyah Butler with another great performance recording 26 Kills while hitting .513 for the match along with 3 blocks. Jakhi Smith would go on to assist on 46 kills to her Golden Eagle teammates, along with 3 service aces.  Nevaeh Cruz and Bria Johnston had 23 and 22 digs with Emma Fistraol having 19 digs.

The Golden Eagles are back in action this week first hitting the road to take on Sauk Valley on Wednesday in Dixon, IL. RVC will return to #TheNest this weekend on Friday for matches against Kishwaukee College, Spoon River College, and then end the weekend back on the road at North Central College.
