The past week RVC faced off against Highland Community College.The Golden Eagles would fall to Highland one set to three. "We didn't play our style of volleyball against Highland. We came out flat and not aggressive." Stated Coach Kristy Pierce.

Rock Valley would get a chance to redeem their play in the Back to School Tourney hosted by top ranked NJCAA DII Parkland College. The Golden Eagles would face off against Morton College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Hawkeye Community College and #1 in the country Parkland College.

RVC would split the opening day of the tournament losing zero sets to three against Morton College and then would defeat Kalamazoo Valley Community College later on in the day three sets to one.
On the final day of the tournament the Golden Eagles would drop both matches to Hawkeye Community College and #1 Parkland College in three sets. "This past week we have been challenged, we have shown flashes of being a good team but lack consistency." Head Coach Kristy Pierce stated.
