The Rock Valley baseball season came to an end in the Region IV tournament this past weekend. The Golden Eagles were eliminated on Friday in a loss to MATC. The Golden Eagles finished the season with a 21-29-1 record. They earned the 5th seed in the Region Tournament. Several records were set this season on the base paths; both Evan Tocmo and Nikolas Clark set the stolen base record with 29 steals on the season. Ryan Sell earned himself NJCAA Player of the Week with an excellent outing against D1 Olive Harvey where he tossed a complete game shut out and struck out 11 batters. The Golden Eagles had 3 different winning streaks over the season, after playing a tough spring break schedule the Golden Eagles finished the season 20-18-1.
